Flamenco teacher with 30 years of experience
BIO My art is viscerally trained in the discipline of flamenco music. I channel my energy in every step, creating emotion until I find the form. I started with modern dance, Theater and music at Castella Conservatory in Costa Rica. My first contact with with Spanish dance was at age 5 with Cecilio Casas . Later on I discover the music of Paco de Lucía with Camarón de la Isla and the movie "Carmen" by Carlos Saura. At the age of 20, I moved to San Francisco California and began attending Flamenco classes and Master workshops with Domingo Ortega and Andrés Marín. After 2 years I decided to move to Seville and dedicate myself exclusively to this art form 100%. My teacher were José Galván, Israel Galván, Alicia Marquez, Juan Polvillo, Alejandro Granados, Manolo Marín, Yolanda Heredia, Manuela Ríos, Mercedes de Córdoba, Eva Yerbabuena y Susana Lupiáñez "La Lupi". Marigia Maggipinto from Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch. Credits: Pilates Instructor. Diploma in "Elocuencia a través del lenguaje Flamenco" by Eva Yerbabuena, Paco Jarana, Theater Director Juan Ruega, Stage Director Vicente Palacios, Lighting Technician Florencio Ortiz, Costume Designer Lopez de Santos. My enthusiasm for this profession always leads me to actively participate in master classes in different disciplines.

INTEGRITY
"The Salt in Us"

TEATRO DER MAST
Innaguration
This piece inspired on a research of "The Wounded Deer" by Frida Kahlo. It's about the intrinsic integrity of all human kind and the work we all must do in order to protect it during our journey in this crazy world. The deer and the goddess Diana or Artemisia represents a warrior who protects nature. The salt it is used metaphorically to signify permanence, loyalty, durability, fidelity, value and purification. Prevent decay of society, to fight against the tide of inhumanity and oppression.

A.S.D. CAMMINO FLAMENCO
(Foundress)
Flamenco pioneer in the city of Brescia 2005 Among others, I brought the soul of Andalusia into the city of Brescia - Italy laying the foundation of this art form where it still echoes. In 2009 I officially established the cultural centre "Associazione Culturale Cammino Flamenco" where I worked as an artistic director and producer until the year 2013. My legacy is not just in the rhythms I unleashed - it lives in the steps of those I taught. My students, once guided by my passion, now blaze their own trails, carrying forward the art I fiercely love.

SUEÑOS
